On Wednesday night at eight hear music from the finalists in the Taite Music Prize. The prize is named after music journalist Dylan Taite, who’s iconic monologues were compulsory watching in the days when TV producers were a little more adventurous.

The show will feature all of the finalists – from@peace to Kimbra, Delaney Davidson to Jakob, and many more.

Announced on April 15, the award is all about the music. It’s goal is:

to recognise outstanding creativity for an entire collection of music contained on one album.

Winners get ten grand to do whatever they like with, and a year’s supply of a fizzy drink.
